Underlined printed frank on 1870 3¢ green entire to Jackson, Cal., San Francisco postmark where Gillpatrick dropped it at the end of there route; slightly trimmed at left, Very Fine, Gillpatrick ran an express from San Francisco on a local steamer to points along the upper bay and a few spots inland, use copies are very rare.
