From Todd's Express Office, Sonora, blue tombstone and matching "Paid" double oval handstamps on blue 1853 folded letter to San Francisco, letter regarding replacing employee who is going to Sydney, N.S.W.…he has been working in the mines since the fall of 1850 and is well known as sharp, active and proper man; light horizontal file fold through Todd's marking, F.-V.F. Estimate $300 - 400. This Todd, Charles A.
