Stamped "NEW YORK BREM. PK / 5 / AUG / 24" manuscript rated "22" cents being the treaty rate to Baden introduced August 1853. On arrival at Bremen the scarce "24/29 Kr.R AMERICA UBER BREMEN" was struck being 24 Kreuzer packet rate plus 9 Kreuzer inland resulting in the manuscript "33" in blue.
