Carpenter correspondence, tied by red "Strait's Despatch Post, At Adams Exp'rss & 48 S. 3d St., Paid" circular handstamp with additional strike on front; stamp with sealed vertical tear from opening, otherwise F.-V.F., an extremely rare tied on cover usage of the blue 1¢ Eagle City Post adhesive.
