Johnsons., Inland, Express" oval handstamp alongside; cover edge wear, otherwise Very Fine, one of the great express covers, three of the Dugan mark and two of Johnsons are known, both of Johnsons are associated with Dugan, ex Ferrari, Lichtenstein. Estimate  $4,000 - 6,000. This cover probably originated south of Crescent City and was carried there by Dugan who then gave it to Johnson for the rest of the journey to Yreka.
