Harrier's Express., Paid., fancy boxed frank (HAR-001) on 1860 3Ā¢ pink entire to San Francisco, canceled by blue Wells, Fargo & Co., Nevada, Sep 20 oval date stamp; reduced at right into indicia, otherwise Very Fine, the finer of two known examples of this express frank, ex Dale-Lichtenstein. EstimateĀ  $1,500 - 2,000. D.W. Harrier operated his express from 1864 to 1865 in Nevada City, connecting with Wells, Fargo & Co., and served the mining camps between there and Moore's Flat and Bloomfield. $0 (Image)
