Weiss Nos. TR-C1  Estimate $400 - 600. The 12¢ postage prepaid the 6¢ treaty rate plus 6¢ supplementary mail fee. The cover was carried on the Guion Line "Wisconsin" that arrived at Queenstown on August 2, 1874. This correspondence is from Mary Fairfax Morris (1848-1924), the grand-daughter of Governor Morris, and Alfred J. Davenport who she married sometime in 1874 in England. Morrisania was part of their family land.There are only a few supplementary mail letters recorded that did not receive a "Supplementary Mail" datestamp or handstamp.
