Columbus Ohio, two folded letters with strikes in red and black of 25mm circle of 17 torches, black dated "May 9" with manuscript day and matching "10" cent rating to Urbana Oh., red dated "Oct" updated to "Nov 6" in manuscript with matching "10" cent rating to Urbana Oh., later with lightened file fold toning, otherwise a Very Fine pair with remarkable strikes. Estimate $1,000 - 1,500. ONE OF ONLY TWO RECORDED SETS OF THIS FANCY COLUMBUS STAMPLESS POSTMARK IN BOTH COLORS. Richard Graham recorded only two red strikes known in private hands.
