Andrew Jackson. Portrait design on India die sunk on card (91x105mm), with titling and "National Bank Note Co. N.Y." below, accompanied by a similar portrait design cropped from a banknote, Very Fine. Estimate  $150 - 200. This portrait was engraved in 1861 by National Bank Note Co. engraver Joseph P. Ourdan, for use on a $1,000 banknote produced for the Confederacy prior to the North & South embargo. The Blackjack stamp vignette is actually the central portion of the same die. $0 (Image)
