1912, 1¢ green, Shermack Type III and Privately Perforated 13, double perforations, tied by "New York, N.Y. Jan 15 1914" machine cancel on post card to Philadelphia Pa.; card creasing, Fine and exceptionally rare; with 1995 A.P.S. and 1998 P.S.E. certificates. Scott No. 408  Estimate $1,000 - 1,500. This item was illustrated and discussed in an article by Ken R. Lawrence in the September 1998 American Philatelist on page 824.
