1898, 8¢ Trans-Miss., top margin plate number "609" pair with imprint, both stamp exceptionally centered with beautifully balanced oversized margins, rich deep color and proof-like impression, fresh and immaculate, an Extremely Fine to Superb jumbo; with 1990 P.F. and 2002 P.S.E. certificates. Scott No. 289  $850. AN EXTRAORDINARY NEVER HINGED PLATE PAIR OF THE 1893 8¢ TRANS-MISSISSIPPI ISSUE. Included is a small handwritten diagram from William Litle (former P.S.E.
