Heyliger on St. Croix, manuscript "Frederiksted, 24/11 78, LK" postmark, address updated in blue crayon to Christiansted, reverse with "Christiansted 25/11 1878" arrival cds, some typical worm holes, otherwise Very Fine; with 2000 Moller certificate. Facit No. 6b. Scott No. 6 Estimate $1,500 - 2,000. THIS IS THE ONLY RECORDED EXAMPLE OF THE TEMPORARY FREDERIKSTED MANUSCRIPT POSTMARK DUE TO POST OFFICE FIRE.
