1873 (Jul. 3) Curacao to Havana, Cuba via St. Thomas, folded letter with blue "A.M. de Curuceaga, Curacao" merchant double-oval, carried privately to St. Thomas, franked with France 30c. bister pair, cancelled by anchor lozenge cancel, for the prepaid 60 centimes rate by French packet to Havana, matching consular "St. Thomas, 3 Aout 73" octagonal marking and "P.P." framed handstamp, black "St. Thomas, Paq. Fr. B. No. 2" (8.4) octagonal packet backstamp, clear strike of Cuba "NA1" oval due handstamp for one real postage due in Cuba; some pen docketing on face, otherwise Very Fine and scarce use.
