1867, 2¢ black, F. Grill. Complete left full pane of 100 with plate "No. 30" and "National Bank Note Company" imprint at bottom with imprints at left and top, gutter margin at right, full original gum, mixed centering as usual with many nicely centered throughout, strong color and well defined grills, gutter margin into stamps at bottom, creases affecting three horizontal rows, crimped vertical perfs through center, hinge reinforcements mainly on creased stamps and some nicks in the lower right margin, otherwise Fine, a truly remarkable intact sheet of 100 of the 2¢ F. Grill and only known complete sheet of any Blackjack issue, ex Metzger. Scott No. 93  Estimate $25,000 - 30,000. There where two intact sheets of the Blackjack issue. The second sheet, which resided in the Allen collection, was never recovered after the collection was stolen. It is now presumed to have been broken up. $0 (Image)
