Pkt. Sep 12" exchange cds with "90" cent due h.s. in coin and "U.S. Notes 111" depreciated currency h.s., Very Fine. Estimate  $200 - 300. Letter carried from Buenos Ayres to Southampton by RMS steamer "Oneida". London applied 80/CENTS debit marking for transit fees owed to G.B. New York used two rate markings to show the postage due in coin and in depreciated greenback currency.
