Canceled by blue target handstamp on locally addressed cover with green illustrated Liberty, Louisville & Memphis, U.S. Mail Line corner card (similar to Milgram 792) showing Liberty with Steamboat in background, with original letter datelined "On Board Liberty No. 2, 75 miles below Cairo, Oct 20, 1863" with content regarding transmission of cover …Mrs M.J. Miller who has been on a visit to Memphis, has come up with me on her way to Lebanon, home. She will take the train tomorrow morning if we arrive on time.
