Horiz. pair, affixed on Soldier's cover from New Orleans with 1864 double circle postmark & "Due 6" handstamp, sent to Minonk, Ill., forwarded to Atlanta, Ill. with pair tied by three strikes of blue straight line "Paid" with manuscript "at this office here", pair moved & hinged to cover to show "Due 6" marking, minor edge wear, Very Fine, a most unusual item.
