Am. Pkt. '24' Dec 31 1860" debit exchange cds, Very Fine, a scarce Portland packet use. Estimate  $150 - 200. From November 1859, the Canadian Allan Line had a contract to carry U.S. mails. In May 1860, the Allan Line steamers began to call at Londonderry (port city of Moville) enroute from Liverpool to Quebec or Portland (winter months).
