Aug 8" exchange backstamp and framed "Short Paid" handstamp, carried by Cunard Line Canada from Boston to Queenstown arriving Aug. 20th, Calais (8.22) entry cds and black "24" decimes due rating handstamp; some perf faults from edge placement, F.-V.F. Estimate  $300 - 400. On the west bound trip, "Canada" was reported as leaving Halifax on Aug. 12th. She grounded in the Halifax harbor in the early morning hours of Aug. 10th and had remained there 35 hours.
