Estimate  $400 - 600. Six page printed circular of Johnston, Cambers & Co. of Bahia sent unpaid in the British mails. Circular carried from Bahia to Southampton by Royal Mail Steam Packet Company contract mail steamer "Tyne", then placed on Cunard mail steamer to New York. London debited U.S. 4¢.
