Dec 26 1858" cds and matching "Steamship" circular h.s., New York partial red (1.5) exchange backstamp and circled "10" debit h.s. to France, carried by Cunard Line Asia from New York Jan. 5 to Liverpool arriving Jan. 16, French (1.17) entry cds with manuscript "12" decimes due rating, Paris (1.18) and Bordeaux (1.19) backstamps, Very Fine, French treaty mails from Mexico via the U.S. are uncommon. Estimate  $300 - 400. Letter carried from Veracruz to New Orleans by mail steamship "Tennessee", a temporary mail steamer owned by Charles Morgan. $0 (Image)
