Tied by "Paid" grids with red "Boston Oct. 11 Paid 12" credit datestamp on blue 1859 folded cover to Paris, France, clearly struck Oct. 25 transit, receiving backstamp, 10¢ guideline straddle margin at left, 3¢ adhesives with clipped perfs, Very Fine, the 1¢ overpayment of 15¢ U.S-France treaty rate was presumably for carrier service in Boston.
