Sep. 7, 1857" cds on blue cover to Genoa, Italy, markings include red "New York Paid 18 Sep. 16" credit circular datestamp, red framed "P.D." and French transit, receiving backstamps, 1¢ with minute perf tear at top, Very Fine, a scarce mixed-issue franking, ex-Kapiloff; with 2003 P.F. certificate.
