'46' Apr 20" debit exchange cds, carried by Cunard Line Europa from New York Apr. 20 to Liverpool arriving May 1, Bremen and Deutz (5.4) arrival backstamps, blue "26" silbergroschen for double rate; couple unnoticeable repaired cover tears, Very Fine appearance, early use of Blood's adhesive and scarce use on transatlantic cover. Scott No. 15L15  Estimate $400 - 600. Letter carried to Philadelphia post office by private local post, Blood's of Philadelphia with local 1¢ adhesive prepaying carrier service "to the mails."
