1852 (Jul. 9) Liverpool, England to New York, N.Y., printed "Freight Circular", forwarding agent "Samuel & Pearce" oval origin backstamp, imprint of red GB 1d newspaper tax stamp on circular, red "Paid at Liverpool, JY 10 1852" framed origin d.s. and matching large "1" penny prepaid rate handstamp applied for reduced circular rate abroad, carried by America from Liverpool Jul. 10 to Boston arriving Jul. 22, Very Fine and scarce intact wrapper use. Estimate  $300 - 400. Printed circular sent as newspaper in printed wrapper, open at both ends for post office inspection.
