Estimate  $150 - 200. Prepayment included 34 kreuzer to France and 6 kreuzer Baden internal fee, the rate breakdown shown on reverse in manuscript. Red boxed "P" handstamp struck at the Kehl exchange office in accordance with the 1846 Franco-Baden postal convention to show payment through France. This marking is uncommon.
