1851, 1¢ Blue, Type II, plate 1 early, three mostly large margins, fourth margin just in at top, tied to a very clean 1851 printed circular by a superb strike of the scarce small Boston "PAID" in grid cancel, partial red "Boston, Mass. 'Paid' Aug 21" red cds at top left; ex-Cowitt, Very Fine. Scott No. 7  Estimate $300 - 400. This is reportedly the latest use of the small Boston "PAID" in grid.
