1849-1868 U.S.-Great Britain Mails - 1848 Treaty by American Contract Steamships, collection balance of 80 stampless covers showing the wide range of rate markings and steamships, range of origins include Austria, Brazil, Bremen two from India, Portugal, Hamburg, plus transit mail like 1855 London to Canada via New York and two 1857 letters from Cuba to Denmark via N.Y. and London, also some destinations like 1857 Boston to Hong Kong (top edge flaws); also includes a couple 1867-68 covers from the new treaty, F.-V.F., an interesting basis for further study with many better covers present.
