EstimateĀ $300 - 400. Letter taken to Black Ball Line agent and 25Ā¢ freight money fee paid (marked in pencil, upper left corner). "United States" made only four transatlantic round voyages for the Black Ball sailing ship line before being sold to the German Government as a war ship.
