Jun 19" cds with matching "Paid" h.s. and manuscript "29" prepaid rating for all transit fees to Bremen, red "New York Jun 29" backstamp with "Paid Part" straightline incorrectly struck instead of "Paid All", carried by Ocean Line Washington that departed New York July 20 to Bremerhaven arriving Aug. 5, Bremen (8.5) boxed transit; small cover flaws, F.-V.F. Estimate  $200 - 300. Letter arrived in New York after 20 June sailing of Ocean Line steamer and had to wait one month for next steamer to Bremerhaven. It was addressed to a forwarding agent in Bremen,who reposted letter to Freiwaldau. When letter reposted at Prussian post office in Bremen, red crayon "x" marked across letter face as sign letter prepaid and "6x" marked on reverse. $0 (Image)
