1847 (Sep. 4) Birkenhead, England to Philadelphia, Pa., cover with original Sept. 4th letter, red "Paid at Liverpool SP 4 1847" framed d.s. with matching "1/-" shilling prepaid h.s. for transatlantic packet fee, carried by Cunard Line Britannia from Liverpool Sep. 4 to Boston arriving Sep. 19, blue Philadelphia "12" due h.s. for 10¢ inland fees plus 2¢ ship fee, Extremely Fine and attractive small lady's envelope. Estimate  $200 - 300. Small lady's envelope and letter rated at Philadelphia with distinctive double circle blue handstamp of Philadelphia instead of at arrival port of Boston.
