Mar 30" cds and matching "Paid" h.s. with manuscript "37½" and "56¼" triple ratings for 3x12½¢=37½¢ freight money fee for a sailing ship plus 3x18¾¢=56¼¢ for inland fees to N.Y. partial red "New-York Mar 31" cds, carried by Black Ball Line Cambridge from New York Apr. 1 to Liverpool arriving Apr. 29, partial Liverpool Ship Letter backstamp and manuscript "3/2" due 3s2d rating for 2x 8d ship fee plus 2x 11d inland postage, some paper loss on flap, Very Fine. Estimate $200 - 300. Baltimore used no consistent pattern of writing freight money fee over inland fee or vice verse. Pencil notation in upper right shows "56¼" over "37½."
