Jul 19" cds with "Paid" handstamps and red manuscript "Packet 12½" and "18¾" ratings for freight money by sailing ship, red "New-York Aug 5" exchange cds, carried by Swallowtail Line Independence from New York Aug. 8 to Liverpool arriving Aug. 28, "Liverpool/Ship Letter" and London (8.9) backstamps, manuscript "1/7" due 1s7d rating for 8d ship fee plus 11d inland postage, Very Fine, One of two recorded freight money covers from Darlington, U.C.
