(Shades) 3¢ Mid-1852 Orange Brown, position 29R2L, mostly large margins except barely touched at bottom, tied by bold strike of "New-York Oct 25" cds on 1852 folded letter to Philadelphia, Pa., a Very Fine and scarce example of this shade type. Scott No. 11A  Estimate $200 - 300. The mid-1852 orange brown is another color that seems to have been used mostly in mid-1852 that has an orange brown tint and does not go with the brownish carmines.
