(Shades) 3¢ Experimental Orange Brown, Type II, Right Margin Single With Part Imprint and "No. 1" Plate Number, position 50R1L, tied by blue "Philadelphia, Pa., Dec 31" cds on 1851 folded letter to Providence, R.I.; stamp with tear along top left edge, F.-V.F., this being the Earliest Known Usage of The First United States Plate Number.
