(Shades) 3¢ Deep Orange Brown, Type II, margins to cutting, tied by "New York Aug 22" cds with single 5½mm thick slug on blue folded letter to Towanda, Pa.; file fold affects 3¢, Fine and scarce. Scott No. 10A  Estimate $300 - 400. The use of the "single bar" cancellation is known only in the latter half of August 1851 for a period of sixteen days from Aug. 12 to Aug. 27.
