Raimond, General Shipping., and, Commission Merchant, 77 Davis St San Francisco, blue double oval handstamp on buff cover addressed to Oasis Rancho, San Jose Road, with uncancelled 1851 3¢ dull red (slightly cut in) at right, Very Fine, the Raimond oval is seen on other covers but this is the only known "77 Davis" address examples, it is our belief that this is the only example of an express usage, where Raimond transmitted the cover with the uncancelled 3¢ adhesive as per Post Office regulations, ex-Clifford.
