(San Bernardino) Wells, Fargo & Co's Express, Colton, Cal., sharp purple oval handstamp (type 10-33) canceling on 1870, 3¢ green entire to Waterman, Cal., black frank (WFE-030) at top; reduced at right just slightly into indicia, otherwise Very Fine. Estimate  $200 - 300. Colton was a small railroad station located south of the town of San Bernardino on the Union Pacific Railroad line. Two different types of hands stamps are known from this location. Both are unlisted in Leutzinger and both are considered unique. $0 (Image)
