Ind. vols" at top, put onto Route 10405 to Cairo for transfer to the Ohio River; cover professionally restored, Very Fine appearance, a rare marking, ex-Kramer. Towle No. M-1-e  Estimate $300 - 400. Route 10405 between Memphis and St. Louis was contracted to Barton Able at $7,350 a year for twice weekly service in June 1862.
