(Nevada) Nevada City Cal., Aug 10, 1860, cds on 10¢ green (U16) on buff entire addressed to "Hon Abram Lincoln, Springfield, Illinois", endorsed "Overland" at left, appears to be docketed "needs no answer" at left in Mary Lincoln's hand; some edge wear, F.-V.F. Estimate  $200 - 300. Since this cover pre-dates Lincoln's successful election as President of the United States later in 1860, it is likely that the enclosure simply contained well wishes for Lincoln. $0 (Image)
