Oct. 8, 1856" cds on orange cover addressed to R. K. Swift at the Clarendon Hotel in N.Y. and forwarded to Boston Mass., red "Forwarded" handstamp crossed out and with "Please take notice I am" with forwarding hand drawn in; cover defective at left and right stamp light diagonal crease from cover, F.-V.F., a remarkable cover bearing two 3¢ Chicago Perf stamps and addressed to R.
