(Circus) Barnum's Zoological Hall & American Museum. Illustrated corner card cover to Harrisburgh, Ind. franked with 1861 3¢ rose tied by circle of wedges with "New-York Mar. 4" (1867) circular datestamp alongside, included is original enclosure on elaborate Barnum's letterhead from Hyatt Frost, the circus manager, who diligently updated number of "Curiosities" on display to 250,000 and corrected spelling of "Menagerie" in company name, cover lightly soiled and reduced at right, stamp has s.e. and color is a bit washed out, still Very Fine, an outstanding exhibition pair.
