(Carte-De-Viste) Seth Kinman, Hunter and Trapper, two carte-de-vistes; one showing legendary woodsman with shotgun and other of the Elk-Horn Chair he presented to President Lincoln (mentioned on the first carte-de-viste), both with "Brady - Washington" imprints; minor wear, Very Fine, a nice matching pair. Estimate  $300 - 400. Seth Kinman was an early settler of Humboldt County, California, a hunter based in Fort Humboldt, a famous chair maker, and a nationally recognized entertainer. He was also a hotel keeper, barkeeper, and a musician who performed for President Lincoln on a fiddle made from the skull of a mule. $0 (Image)
