In some of the vallies not a vistage of imporvement remained. Cattle horses hogs and every other species of farming property were swept away…" and "It seems as if secession was getting badly handled lately. I guess that foreign nations begin to think that Brother Johnathan is not so big a coward after all the fuss they have made.
