Scott No. 11A  Estimate $300 - 400. THIS IS THE EARLIEST RECORDED USE FROM THE TOWN OF FORT WORTH. When the garrison was removed from Fort Worth in September 1853, settlers in the area moved into it abandoned buildings and the city grew from the nucleus. The post office was opened in 1856.
