Study group of eight covers (seven with 1861 3¢ rose plus one 1864 3¢ pink entire) with "Virginia City, Ido" double circle postmarks and duplex target killers, postmark dates range from Nov. 1864 to Aug. 1865 (Montana Territory was created May 1864), destinations include Lewiston, Idaho, Nevada City, Montana, and various eastern states, the cover to Lewiston also bears a partial straight line marking that is likely a postmark, most covers opened roughly or reduced and three covers with stains, V.G.-Fine group, ex-Mader (no photo).
