Cover franked with 1929, 25c on 10c Airmail (issued Feb. 8) + 2c carmine tied by purple "Republica de Panama, Agencia Postal de Colon, Feb 9, 1929" cds, with additional first flight cachets and signed C.A. Lindbergh, Dec. 1934 in lower left corner, Very Fine. Scott No. C1+236  Estimate $400 - 600. The Republic of Panama had anticipated dispatching mail on the return flight (pilot Lindbergh), however this was precluded by the contract between PAA and the U.S. Post Office.
