1926 CAM 2 "Test" Flight, St. Louis to Chicago. Airmail cover with typewritten endorsement and franked with 1926, 10¢ Airmail, with signature "C.A. Lindbergh, Pilot" and "Wm. H. Conkling, Postmaster", Extremely Fine, a rare Charles Lindbergh signed cover and one of the first covers to have been flown by Lindbergh. Estimate  $750 - 1,000. Five days before the inaugural date, Lindbergh and Philip R. Love flew CAM 2 in two DH-4's. Raymond V. Bahr, a friend of Lindbergh's, prepared a small number of souvenir covers which where carried by Lindbergh from Springfield, Ill. to Chicago. The covers have no postal markings.
