Fresh embossed corner card cover franked with 1869, 15¢ brown & blue, type II, two singles tied by cork handstamps and red "Boston, Paid 24, Nov 26" cds, red "Etats Unis, Paq. Fr. No. 2" octagon date stamp and partial receiving backstamp; cover slightly reduced at left, Extremely Fine and choice, a gem double rate usage with very few covers with the 1869, 15¢ Type II processed by the Boston exchange are known; with 1977 P.F. certificate. Scott No. 119  Estimate $1,500 - 2,000. Sent via French Line - per steamer Lafayette, departing New York on November 27th and arriving in Brest December 8th and Havre on December 9th. $0 (Image)
