1863, 24¢ grayish lilac. Tied by bold grid handstamp on cover to Kinsclere, England, matching "San Francisco, Cal., Nov 14, 1864" cds alongside, portion of oval "Paid" handstamp of Westminster, B.C. under and to the right of stamp indicating colonial 5d postage paid, red New York exchange and Liverpool transit cds's, receiving postmark on front; file folds, accompanied by second cover from correspondence sent one month later from Vancouver (one of two 12¢ stamps torn from corner of cover), Very Fine.
